THOROLD, ONTARIO - Allie Hughes, CEO and Founder of Hughes & Co. was presented with the Niagara Emerging Entrepreneur Award at the 2017 Niagara Entrepreneur of the Year Awards (NEYA). The award recognizes entrepreneurs who have demonstrated entrepreneurial success and excellence in their new enterprise.
The Niagara Entrepreneur of the Year Awards were presented to 11 Niagara-based entrepreneurs on Friday, February 23rd at White Oaks Conference Resort and Spa in Niagara-on-the-Lake. The Emerging Entrepreneur Award was presented by Innovate Niagara and St. Catharines Enterprise Centre. Past winners include Joanne Van Liefland of Wrap It Up ~ Raw Inc., Mark Meloni of Urge to Purge and Sue-Ann Staff of Sue-Ann Staff Estate Winery.
Hughes expressed her gratitude for the award saying, “I am excited and honoured to have received the 2018 Emerging Entrepreneur Award.
