There are many tools you can use on your business’ Facebook page to enhance engagement and reach. One of the cool features that many people don’t know about is the “Services” tab that gives you the opportunity to introduce the services your business provides.
Facebook for business continues to improve its platform to help businesses better attract customers for both B2C and B2B marketing. Adding your services has never been easier:
- Enter one service at a time
- Add a price or price range
- Add your 200-character description of the service
- Better promote your business and what it has to offer
Why you should use the "Services" tab
Once published, these services will be placed on your page below your tabs and above your status box. Paying attention to the order you put your services in is important as only the top three services you’ve entered will be placed on your home page. Customers either click the “See All” link to the right of your primary services, or can click the “Services” tab to see the rest.
This new services feature gives businesses a great opportunity to attract new customers and promotes what they have to offer. Look to change up your three main services often too, highlighting why customers should choose you. The top three is also a great way to put up new promotions or new services that you are integrating into your business.
The types of services you add also play a role in your visibility on Facebook’s listings directory. You can find out where your services place you on the directory on facebook.com/services. With preset search results, Facebook offers certain keywords to search for, so make sure you tailor your keywords under your “Services” tab and in your page subcategory. Like Google, these listings are ranked by a specific algorithm that also assigns based on factors such as the location of your business, the number of reviews received, past interactions with customer and local business pages, etc.
Integrate the Facebook services tab to your business page, to enhance your reach and better your Facebook strategy.
