Your blog is where you stand out as an expert in your industry. It's a place to regularly publish and promote new content related to your business and industry, that will help to attract new visitors and convert them in to leads.

First pick a topic and title.

Your inspiration can begin by revisiting your buyer personas. Think about the problems you solve for, what your target persona challenges are and what they type in a search engine. By identifying their needs, let the solution frame your blog topic and title.

Next is to format the post.

White space is your friend. Breaking up your content with sub-headers, bullet points, multi media and imagery will attract and keep your audience engaged. Also, keep mobile in mind as your structure your blog post,

We recommend you don't directly talk about your services(you can use your website for that), but you can promote offers within your blog. By strategically inserting helpful and relevant next steps, you are building trust with valuable information and guiding your visitor to a conversion path.

Lastly, optimize!

This can be a tricky area. What you don't want to do is fill your blog with as many keywords as you can, that does not make for a good read, and in fact hurts your SEO. Search engines recognize that as keyword stuffing, and will not consider your content relevant, resulting in it not being found by the initial searcher.
