I am not reinventing the wheel when I tell you that the digital landscape has changed and continues to change. If you have a new website and you don't have a blog, they did it wrong. You want people to find your site

You know what works amazingly well for that? A blog. Nothing is the definition of boring social like a brand that has taken zero time to invest in a good content strategy. If you received advice that just being there is enough, you got bad advice. You need to be creating relevant and interesting content. Engagement doesn't turn into money often enough to base a digital strategy on it. You need to blog.

The hard part of this is that your blog is the bare minimum when it comes to a content strategy online in 2017. This is the basics of intelligent digital presence, and you are playing catch-up if you aren't on this page yet. Businesses and consumers alike seek blogs to educate. It is the fastest growing content type on the internet, and you are a subject matter expert in your field. Relevant, qualified content is hard to come by. Get in the mix and deliver something outstanding to the audience of prospects that are doing their research online.
