As one of Ontario’s first shelters for those experiencing abuse, Gillian’s Place has been providing safe refuge and support programs in an effort to end domestic violence. In short, their team is proud to provide confidential, over-the-phone and in-person support services such as outreach counselling, legal advice and transitional housing for women, children and LGBTQIA2S+ individuals. After recently undertaking a full-scale rebrand and all-new website, H&C Inc. was pleased to continue our work with Gillians Place via retained design services agreement.
Our team of talented designers, accompanied by the insights of marketing experts, worked to create a myriad of visually-stunning assets for Gillians Place. The final products are breathtaking brochures, reports and catalogues that perfectly embody the Gillians Place brand and purpose. First, H&C Inc. worked to create a brand-new brochure that is as educational as it is beautiful. Next was a sixteen-page Annual General Report, that required a delicate balance of content and visuals. With an emphasis on organization, H&C Inc. transformed tables of data, individual stories of support and the latest internal news with Gillians Place stakeholders for an easy-to-understand final document. This design really illuminates GP's new branding, incorporating their colour, typography, and new aesthetic into the document. What's next for Gillian's Place? A carefully curated Gifts of Hope catalogue to promote donations for the holiday season.
